✨Consultations✨
✨Your Consultation✨

Let’s get together at the shop and chat about what your tattoo ideas are! You tell me what you want to get, we can brainstorm together, compare calendars, and get you scheduled if you decide to book it. Sometimes we can just talk via text or email, and that’s plenty, but 95% of the time I’ll need you to come to the shop. If you’re a new client, or we are starting a completely new project, I will 98% need you to come in for a consultation in person. If you want to cover up another tattoo, I will 100% need to see you at the shop. Photos don’t cut it sometimes, even if I’ve seen your tattoos for years. lol

On the day of your consultation, I will need you to have some information ready for me. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to ask everything you can think of. There are no dumb questions, and I will try to answer everything as accurately as I can, and if I can’t, I’ll try to research it and get more information for us both.

Some basic info I will definitely need every time -

  • ✨Subject/Image
  • ✨Placement on body, including left or right side, front or back, inner or outer, etc.
  • ✨Size in inches or centimeters, preferably. Use easy-to-recognize size comparisons like a Bic lighter, a pack of cigarettes, a soda can, a sheet of paper, a 2-liter bottle, etc. “Medium-sized,” “The size of my phone,” “My arm,” are not size examples I can use.
  • ✨Color or Black and Gray
  • ✨Style. No matter what, it’s going to look like I did it, which is what I hope you came to me for! But some examples of different tattoo styles are American Traditional, Neo Trad, Realism, Anime, Fineline, etc.
  • ✨Bring examples of tattoos you like, ideas you’ve seen! But I don’t use AI generators at all. FUCK AI.
  • ✨Is this a cover-up? I will need to see the tattoo being covered for sure.
  • ✨Budget, if any ;)

Once we get the details worked out and you decide to book your appointment, we can proceed from there!

👀 Please note, I don’t send drawings to clients, and I usually draw for my appointments the night or 2 beforehand so the design is fresh in my mind. The point of the consultation is to get on the same page together, so I have all the information I need to make a design you will love. I’m hoping you’ve come to me because you like my work! And trust is a huge part of this process. So if you need to see designs before the appointment date, I’m probably not the artist for you. And that’s ok!
